Plus online co-op. One of my favorite things about these games is Officer Creation, so when I saw the market before I bought this game I was discouraged to see so much asthectic and costume stuff.

I thought for sure that when you created a custom character that your options would be limited and they would force you into buying their market options and that character creation would be greatly limited. There's 17 pages of slots, each with 50 slots. That's 850 custom characters. Most games would charge you an eye for that many toons. So you can essentially create your entire army to use in Empires Mode, as well as the enemy officers, generals and emporers you will face.

Sure with 850 slots you're going to make redundant characters, but what you get isn't terribly limited. I've made a good 20-25 so far! Staff-wielding monk, couple unique assassins, blind swordsman.

Dynasty Warriors 8 is the most satisfying and complete Warriors game yet, dethroning the excellent Warriors Orochi 3. It’s at once familiar and fresh, instantly recognisable at its core yet.

Submitted on 1/4/2017 Review title of SnowWolf542DW8E can be Fun if you can tolerate it. 🙂 Dynasty warriors 8 Empires is a very enjoyable 'Hack n Slash' game by Koei,The good things are:A Large cast of characters,edit mode,the ability to change music,and obviously its easy to play action gameplay. The only bad things about this game is the blurred graphics (Which is worse then the ps3 ver.)and its DLC. IF your an old school Dynasty Warriors fan or just enjoy action oriented games then i definitely recommend Dynasty Warriors 8 empires,Especially if you can get it for $30 or under. Also this game features 2 players online and split-screen.

Its always fun and a blast to play going around and slaying/K.Oing thousands of warriors and being a bad *** is awesome the character creater always brings me back for a new campaign. My last character wasa a ninja and i ran almost nothing but assassination missions. There aresome things wrong with the game though the graphics are fairly poor characters look great but the maps look horrible which is saddening when other wforce games like aot, zelda, and samuri warriors look amazing in compairison.

There is also some frame rate drop in the game sometimes it's nothing and sometimes its crazy low but they are not enough to impact the game in a huge way mostly dropping for about 1 to 2 seconds maybe once a level. The Game however is fun if your ok with beat'em ups and definitly should be checked out if you like the genre.
