Greetings and Hello, I've been trying to identify the date of an early PRS CE 24 model serial number 173172. I've done my research and have come up with the fact that it is either a 1991 or 1992. I've used the PRS site and another, and have found conflicting data.
If anyone knows the PRS dating system very well I could really use a hand finding out exactly when this guitar was built. I'm not totally sure when but I read it was somewhere in 1991. If anyone could help out on either of these questions that would be a great help. Thank you so much.

Then we are left with '3172.'
